Take Your Skin Care All Natural with Rosehip Oil
I have a major problem with skin care potions, devices, and magical powders. Antioxidants? Got 'em. Minerals? Got 'em. Vitamins A, C, E, and I think even maybe some K? Got 'em. Sephora is my playground. Santa would need an Abominable-size stocking to fit all the goodies I want from CVS. But until recently, Whole Foods was only the place I went for overpriced and unnecessarily organic refried beans and Icelandic yoghurt. However, as of a couple months ago, it's where I go for--you got it--skin care goodies.
I've tried a few of them now, and I like them all, but Aura Cacia Rosehip Oil is my favorite by far. Apparently rosehips have been used on skin for centuries and prized for their ability to soften and brighten the skin. Turns out those old-timers were right; this reship oil is phenomenal.
I actually got my first bottle when I was recovering from a case of shingles. On my face. Major ouch. While lying on my couch and trying not to scratch, I did a prodigious amount of Google searching to find natural and gentle skin care ingredients that would soothe my face, replace my regular arsenal on the non-painful spots, and help avoid any of the horror stories of scarring from shingles. I bought an inappropriate number of such products at Whole Foods after sneaking down there in a hat, turtleneck, and scarf, and they were mostly kind of okay. The Aura Cacia oil was far beyond okay, though. It is rich but not greasy and smells heavenly, particularly when mixed with a few drops of lavender oil. But most importantly, it seriously works. Not only did it take some of the itch away, it left my skin feeling soft and gloomy, at least on the parts without angry, uncomfortable red welts. Plus, the company recommends storing it in your fridge, so it's extra cool and refreshing when you put it on. Trust me, this is a win-win item. Aura Cacia sells some product, you get happy skin. And to a skin. care junkie, there's nothing better.
