Things That Make Me Feel Like a Grown-Up: Cooking Three Things in One Night and Saving Them All for Later
1) Homemade tomato soup turns out to be infinitely better than the canned kind and soup-er (see what I did there?) easy to make, too. The toughest thing was remembering where I put my mixer.
2) Stuffing absolutely does not have to be for holidays only. I'm eating this one for breakfast tomorrow. Don't even try to stop me.
3) OK, sure, macaroni and cheese is better when it doesn't come out of a box. Mac and cheese born in the heart, not in a factory, has the potential to be among humanity's greatest creations. But mine was organic. And the bright yellow cheesy powder came from grass fed cows. SO STOP JUDGING ME!
4) In case you didn't notice, I have the perfect glass containers for all of tonight's culinary creations. That's so awesome that I'm almost embarrassed.
5) I wish there were more things to say about this, but honestly the title really summed it up. I am adulting like a total pro today. OK, tonight. OK, for the last 90 minutes. Small steps, okay?
